December 2014

So, I was on farm inspection up the back roads of Ruawai with the farmer on his squad, and when we returned back to the house my car was otherwise occupied. "How did they get up there I asked"? More importantly it was how the hell are they going to get down without damage!

and the goats starred in the NZ Herald!

I sponsored and made this trophy for Ruawai Primary School Female Young Farmer Award.

It was won by Pheobe Wood. Congratulations Pheobe!

On Behalf of the Ruawai Saints Netball Team, I would like to thank you for supplying the boot bags for us to take on our AIMS Games tournament. These were really great for the girls to take to the games we used them as a back pack and of course they loved them.

Over the week long tournament we played 11 games with 6 Wins and 5 losses. On the last day we ended up playing Otamatea High School in which we won 23 – 22. This left us being placed 67th overall and coming 3rd in the C grade.

This was the first time Ruawai College has sent a team to the NZCT Aims Games.  Attending a tournament like this gave the girls an experience of a lifetime. It was an awesome week and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

The generous support of Companies like Bayleys Real Estate makes it possible for us to attend tournaments like the AIMS Games. As we are a small town we are continually fundraising and always pulling from the same pockets.

Thanks Again,
Delwyn Wilson

During May Bayleys Real Estate nationwide ran the Great Guide Dog Online Auction raising funds for Blind Foundation Guide Dogs. The Auction managed to raise a massive $207,000!!! That’s a huge amount for Guide Dogs and makes a massive difference.

Bayleys in the North raised $17,500 from the items that we got donated. Your support is greatly appreciated!

One of our local bidders was Scott Johnson and he won the bid for the White Face Calf which he has now collected and we also gave him 20 litres of milk!
